Hello! I’m Samantha,
Owner/Marketing Director of Rising Creative Media LLC. I have a knack for elevating social media and digital presence, and love helping my clients achieve their marketing goals. Before working together, get to know a little bit more about me and how my business came to be!
Besides a lifelong dream of being a creative and eventually wanting to pursue owning my own business, I gained valuable industry experience working for a public relations and marketing agency right out of school for two years, next moving onto a larger social media marketing agency, and before the big move to becoming an LLC, some freelance work.
Rising Creative Media was born in the wake of my ‘quarter life crisis’ when I decided it was finally time to follow the dream of being a business owner. I have had the privilege of working with 40+ companies in the Beauty, Wedding, Event Planning, Restaurant/Hospitality, Real Estate, Software, Boutique, and Health/Fitness industries.
Through these experiences, I have gained the unique skill of being able to adapt to different business models and their specific marketing needs in a quick and efficient manner.
My passion for working with businesses of all different shapes and sizes has continued to grow and eventually I left the 9-5 life to start Rising Creative Media LLC. I knew I had the creativity and drive to develop amazing content, and the organizational skills to meet all of my client’s goals. Creating a space where businesses could afford these valuable services is a priority to me. I wanted my clients to have an open relationship to collaborate and work together with their own Social Media or Digital Marketing Manager that has their best interest in mind.
Outside The Office:
I was born & raised on Long Island, and spent four years across the Long Island Sound in Connecticut at Sacred Heart University.
I grew up loving dance (especially Ballet), dedicating 6 days a week to it. I also had a passion for writing that developed as a little girl when my dad would let me read the lyrics on some of his vinyl records (lots of Grateful Dead & The Eagles). In high school, I created an Advanced Creative Writing course so I could take the class more than once! This passion lead me to my college major Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. During my time at college: I balanced a full-time course load, dance team rehearsals, an executive board position for my sorority, completed three internships, and was part of an academic honor society. I finished my four years with the distinction magna cum laude.
Those four years really brought me out of my shell. I realized how much I enjoyed being in leadership roles and how it could help me as a future woman in business. My parents own their own business, and it felt like it was in my blood to eventually pursue that path on my own.
Now, at 25 I am fortunate enough to have utilized my passions in my career. When I am not at my desk, I am either spending time with my Friends, Family, or Fiancé. I am rarely seen without a coffee in hand or listening to music. According to Spotify, I spent a total of 56,901 minutes last year listening to music, which was more than 94% of listeners.
Inspiration behind the name Rising Creative Media LLC:
'Rising' was inspired by the 'Rising Sign' in your astrological birth chart. Your rising sign, also known as your ascendant - represents the way others see you, your general impression on people and your spontaneous reactions.
As an astrology lover, I couldn't get over how perfect this definition fit for a social media agency. Working on how my clients want to present themselves to the world reminds me a lot of what your Rising Sign in your birth chart does in your own life.
